Hmmm... I haven't noticed anything strange happening. But then again I use the windows classic style anyway.

I used to have a really nice StyleXP setup which made my XP look like Tiger but I got bored with. I figured I'll go back to the basics :)

So far so good. It haven't messed anything up yet. I haven't rebooted yet (I usually get 10-14 day uptime on that box between security patches, AV upgrades and various reboot inducing circumstances). Let's see if it plays nice with windows upon reboot.

Good luck with that lol. I've pretty much sworn the beta off for now, and ill just wait till either gaim 2.0 or aim 6.0.

The main problem i had wasnt with the client itself, its just that my computer acted up (coincidently) after installing it. I downloaded the windows Xp media center edition styling for windows xp home, but when i installed AIM triton, my computer "forgot" not only windows media center editon, but classic xp stylings as well. i was left with a gray task bar and triditonal start buttons.

Even weirder was the fact that it kept flickering back and forth. Not sure if its just the combination of my media center thing and a glitch in triton, but the bottom line is it should happen.
