And if Gates would run as an independent, would he actually have a chance? Would the whole glamor of being Bill Gates change people's minds about voting republican, democrat or not at all? I was replying to ZeWrestler's "depends who he runs against" to clarify that if the other guy was worse, he'd vote for Gates - not to imply that even if the other guy was worse he would still vote for the other guy just because it was Gates on the other side. I'm not sure why I decided to clarify this, maybe to make a joke in implying that it was hard to be worse than Gates on consumer rights... if that entertains anyone then yeah, that's what I meant :wink: But I'm sleepy so I really don't know what I'm on about right now, I can tell I'm rambling but I just keep typing I think I should stop now before I really say something stupid. But then again, we really don't know much about his political views or party affiliations. Something tells me though he would be running on republican platform - you know, since he is the richest man alive and all. :P But yeah, it all depends on who would be running against him... Matt, I think it's just hard to say how would Bill act if he was elected, and if the other guy would be better/worse. The only way we could judge him would be his platform, and track record as the head of Microsoft... If the other guy was clearly worse, then I guess I would choose the lesser evil.
