Actually I just balanced it on my leg so that the fan was out in the open. It got much cooler this way. Then I moved it to a table and propped it up so that the fan was not obstructed. Funny thing - when I ran full diagnostics on that machine few days ago it was also sitting on my bed. I actually left it running there, ate dinner, came back and it was still fine. Hdw - LOL.
