Boardgamegeek.com is a great resource for finding out about board games. Each game has a page with various info, including user-uploaded pictures (all the content is essentially from users). One trend seems to be to take pictures of one's cat doing something in or with the box or components. Naturally, this has spawned, in the forums, a faction bent on eliminating these pictures for various reasons. It may be too much of an inside joke, but it's definitely related to the cat/internet phenomenon. (doo-DOO-doo-doo-doo) This is cat-related, I swear!
