Lost: Nicky and Paulo were not in Pilot
Can I make one thing abundantly clear here? Nicky and Paulo were a dirty, disgusting retcon! They were not in the pilot episode! And the fact that some people claiming that Damon and Carlton “planned” for it since the first episode, and that they remember seeing glimpses of them in the early episodes just makes me angry. There are so many easy ways to disprove it. For example, the IMDB cast list credits both Kiele Sanchez and Rodrigo Santoro are first credited in 2006.

Lost Easter Eggs blog took screen shots from both the Pilot episode and Expose proving once and for all that this was all just a stupid retcon. This was not some master plan. Just the worst kind of retroactive continuity.

I had a feeling that if I had a look at the pilot episode it would become really obvious that they just edited them in to the various scenes, now I have confirmation without having to do it myself

I could tell it was added content because of the dialogue scene with Sawyer outside his tent - that was a redo of the conversation he had with Kate in the beginning. Bah Humbug. Stupid Lost writers. Check this Out (Lost Writer PArody from YouTube):

hey… come on they weren’t that bad. sure… they were just there to fill in an episode but still, it’s not like i would run away from the television when this one was on. any LOST episode is a good episode, if you call yourself fans stop bagging it. ask yourself something… would you rather watch expose or NCIS?
