I can’t stand this commercial either. When it first aired, there were no subtitles to clue in the viewer as to what the hell the girl was saying. I knew about half of the acronyms, and my wife was clueless. Apparently, now the commercial comes with subtitles for the texting impaired.

Some people might like that commercial. Personally I hate it and I found the comic above funny. But, if you like the commercial, or find the comic tasteless then I totally respect that.
Lugo fails not because he has a different opinion. He fails because he can’t use punctuation, and posts rude (albeit amusing) rant where he could simply say: “Hey, I happen to I like the commercial” and move on like a normal human being. Or, just - you know, move on and ignore it. No one said you guys have to read my blog.

Please, spare the theatrics, this is the world wide web and if you believe one lacking in the proper use of speech, punctuation, grammar, proper capitalization, et cetera, is one with serious problems worth note, then you have more problems than they. As far as the televised advertisement under discussion, I do not hate it, I’m quite apathetic and indifferent as far as an opinion, however it did provide a modicum of entertainment
exuding a laugh or two.
Hate has always, in my humbled opinion, been such a strong word. For one to so diligently hate a simple television commercial as some are to do here, I honestly fear what your priorities and ambitions could be in life… So much effort in hating something like that. Oh well there’s my two pence.

See, this defensiveness about bad grammar and spelling the attitude exhibited by under-educated, half witted self righteous spoiled 12 year olds that populate the internet today. My grammar and spelling is not perfect - not by a long shot, but I do not make excuses for it. If someone corrects me, I take it as constructive criticism and I do not get offended because I fucked up.
As you said - this is “the world wide web” - and the primary mode of expression here is by writing. The way you write speaks volumes about you because this is the only part of you that is visible to us. So if you write like an angry 12 year old, you get treated like one.
Btw, I’m not saying you write like a 12 year old - the guy above who came here and started cursing did. And so I responded in the way he would understand.
Where I’m from, when someone says “I hate this commercial” we kinda understand it means something among the lines of “this commercial annoys me”. It’s all about interpretation and context. There are nuances in human communication that sometimes allow you to say one thing but mean another. Too bad half of the internet can’t figure that out…
