Utterly random, incoherent and disjointed rants and ramblings...

I was not impressed with any of the 3'rd party solutions. I'm surprised that the community backlash is so small. When they introduced the feeds, everyone and their mom were crying about it. Each time they make changes to their UI people are posting angry rants all over the place.

And yet where they actually take out a chunk of crucial networking functionality no one seems to care all of a sudden. WTF?

I actually just noticed the missing course info today and was surprised. I had thought at first that maybe it was just gone because classes hadn't started yet, then I remembered that they had started in other places, so it must be gone. It seems to me like it would be a lot better for this to be a Facebook supported app (as in, made by them) that you could remove if you wanted but would be included by default. After your quick review, I'm skeptical about even bothering with any of the 3rd party solutions.
