Name That Movie or TV Show 2

The first time we did this it was kinda fun, so I decided to do it again. Below you will find an image which contains snapshots from 25 different movies and/or TV shows. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to identify all of them.

Name That Movie or TV Show 2

Some of these should be really, really easy to identify while other might be really obscure. There are one or two images that are actually a little bit tricky. Can you get all of them?

Wow! I’m actually surprised that 14 was guessed in the first shot! Nice one Steve! Then again, I reviewed that shot on here, and actually had that very screen shot posted so I guess it couldn’t be that hard.

18 is not Abyss although I can see how it might look this way. Actually this one might be very hard to guess due to a small size of the image. So here is a hint - the guy on that picture is actually Bruce Willis. Low budget, but great cast and excellent script. P

22 is not Underworld. The guy on the right is actually the protagonist. It’s a really well known movie - just an obscure shot. )

5 is not Babylon 5. It is from a science fiction TV show that used to air on SciFi channel though.

25 is not Heavy Metal, although the word “metal” is in the title.

Otherwise you guys are nailing them one by one!

Ah! Marcus’s post got snagged by the anti-spam. It seems that he guessed the two shows I gave hints for in the last post - #25 (Fullmetal Alchemist) and #5 (Farscape). Good job!

      17- Clerks
      18 - Armageddon
21- I know i’ve seen that guy before, i can’t think of where.
      22 - fight club

Very nice! You nailed all of them except the following:

#19 is actually Dogma - someone guessed it above
#23 is indeed older anime, but it’s not Akira

#24 is Idiocracy which is an actual movie - but yes, half of SNL regulars show up in there

Wow. It seems that I got here too late. I loved the last post like this you did Luke, and it’s a shame everything but #23 has been solved. Sadly, I don’t have any guesses for #23. Maybe I’ll let my wife look at it. She’s more into anime than I am.

I recognised the character from FMA depicted immedialtely. He was called Gluttony and was always eager to eat people. Disturbing.

I will take a shot at 23. Battle Angel Alita?

@Dax - yeah, this was solved really fast too. I guess the most of the screenshots I picked were very distinctive. P

@Marcus - FMA has quite distinctive style - I think most characters would be recognizable at a glance if you are familiar wit the show.

I knew 23 will be a problem. It is a fairly obscure cyberpunk anime from the mid 90’s. It’s not Battle Angel Alita though. )

Btw Battle Angel Alita Manga version > aime version.
