Yes, specially the jedi knight (oh jedi knight 2!) -- the battle with light sabers are specially difficult. i spend 3 minutes fighting w/ a dark jedi!

i really think force unleashed is gonna show all that wonderfully powerful force powers, a thing that didn't happened on the movies.

Force Unleashed looks amazing although the over the top force powers seem bit out of place. Still, I want to play it.

Another game that let you do this stuff were the Jedi Knight FPS games. Story was not as good as KOTOR but you could do a lot of cool stuff with the force.

After i played both kotor i knew i would never, ever play a similar game again (Maybe Force Unleashed, but it's no rpg).
I'm a huge fan of star wars -- and kotor let me do what i always wanted: throw lightsabers, force lightning, force push...

And, they speak all the dialogs -- and that's wonderful.

I personally prefer kotor I than II -- the plot is more dense.

Cheers!

Yeah, definitely check it out. It starts up slowly, but as go progress it gets more interesting. I have another post about it in the queue where I'm going to discuss the characters and the way they impact the story.

Also, if you didn't play the original KOTOR, I highly recommend that one as well. The story picks up the tempo much quicker, and the introductory mission is much more colorful as you start in an actual city with many open quests. :)

Also, it lets you visit several familiar places. For example, I loved the Tatoine missions where you got to either exterminate or befriend the local sand people tribe. It was really fascinating to talk to their elders and learn about the origins of this often misunderstood people.

Oh, and you also got to visit the Wookie world with it's ginormous trees and tree houses.

I think the original is actually a better game of the two. :)

Sounds like a game I would enjoy, it is good that I read all the post as there was a stage it seemed it has too much problems, but I'll act on your overall opinion and hope I'll have the patience to really let the story untold.
