I turn on my tv to relax and watch movies that catch my interest, I don't know why I don't finish any of them, I fall asleep! Lately, I open it to make me all asleep, LOL or to keep me company while I do stuff on my computer.
Heh! Same here. I routinely fall asleep to Adult Swim :P
Actually, I don’t mind that they diverted….though the crimes in the second book would have made some interesting and twisted TV. Someone is carving people up, but leaving them alive: without ears, eyelids, nose, lips, tongue, teeth, arms, legs, and genitalia (beans and weiners…only killing guys…ex-military…oddly, same unit as the black guy (can’t remember his name)).
Heh, interesting. Perhaps this is why they diverted? It would be to twisted perhaps? I actually liked the direction they took in the second season. :)

Eli Stone isn't really a lawyer show...he keeps seeing visions of the future...and seeing people singing (all the cast members sing and dance :) ) Too funny. Certainly odd.

@BigGamer: I agree...I spend more time on the PC than watching TV...I mean, there's WAY better porn on the internet :)

Wow! The final image has me sold. Adding this series to my must watch list.
I don’t watch daytime TV. I abhor reality shows and I usually can’t stand news because I really don’t give a flying fuck about celebrities, sensationalist fear mongering and stupidity - I’ll get my news online, thank you very much.
I'm in the same boat - I can't stand TV.

I never read the Dexter books - and perhaps this is better. This way I can just enjoy the show, rather than obsess on how it diverges from the original. And from what I know the show and the book diverge and take different directions pretty quickly.

Eli Stone really didn't do much for me. I saw two or three episodes and just didn't like it all that much. It might be because I despise lawyer shows more than I dislike cop dramas. :P

I love Dexter! Read the books years ago and was excited they were coming to TV. Second season is as good as the first, by the way!

There are some good shows on regular TV. Eli Stone for one. My advice is to check it out.

You seem to watch TV like I do...and pretty much the same shows...and have the same attitude towards news. Thought I was the only one :) My GF is like that too, thank god.
