Name that Movie or TV Show

We haven’t done this in ages. Here is the Awesome TV is Always Awesome edition. In other words, all these caps are from TV shows:

Name That Movie or TV Show

Name That Movie or TV Show

You know the rules, and so do I! Just name the shows you recognize from the pictures in the comments. I tagged each picture with a number to make it easy to call them out.

Since I only used good, watchable or funny shows this should be incredibly easy. I mean there is only a handful of things on TV at any given time which doesn’t completely suck (or didn’t suck for the first N seasons). So if you are like me and you limit your TV input mainly to the things that don’t make you hurl, and don’t insult your intelligence you should probably know most of these. Some are are crappier than the others, but I enjoyed most of these.

Also, in the comments we talk about good shows that are not on this picture, but which I should be fucking watching for great justice!

As for other shows that you ought to watch… I have various things I watch and/or have watched all of.

There’s one season of Being Human out which was pretty cool, and a second season coming (summary: a vampire, a werewolf and a ghost are living together, and stuff gets philosophical, but also funny).
Black Books is epic win (Dylan Moran + Bill Bailey running a book store, with hilarious results)
Dead Set was kinda fun – single run of 5 episodes, neatly contained story. All about a zombie apocalypse but from the perspective of some people who were inside the Big Brother house (safe behind all the barbed wire, unaware of anything being wrong)
Anything involving Derren Brown is awesome. I recommend “Messiah”, “The Heist” or “The System”
Green Wing is like a British version of Scrubs (surreal hospital oriented comedy) but less slapstick and more … I’m not sure what the word is.
Jekyll was good for all 6 episodes of it, worth a watch.
The Big Bang Theory is funzies… Sarah Connor Chronicles was good for the 2 seasons of it we got (I think now cancelled… curses upon the name of Fox) and Planet Earth’s good watching if you like seeing the cool parts of the planet.

So yeah… not sure if you’ve already seen any of that lot, but it’s all cool.

@James Heaver: 8 is not “Everybody loves chris?” and 23 is not “The Tick”. :)

Why is 7 missing? Not sure, but I think 987.

@Matt`: Thanks for the suggestions. Some of these are new to me. I will need to check them out.

@Chris: Yeah, I like adult swim – can’t you tell? :P As for Saturday – I wouldn’t know. I hardly ever actually watch TV shows during their normal airtime thanks to the internets and my cable’s on-demand service.

I do watch adult swim when I go to bed at night though so I pretty much know every episode of family guy, venture bros and etc by heart.

Wow, that was the easiest one of these I have made so far. We got all except #9 which is both tiny and obscure. :)

Also, sorry for the missing 7.
