Terminally Incoherent

I’ve been running this blog on a 7 day schedule for quite a while now. I pretty much got it down to science, cranking out posts out on time. Recently though I noticed that this self imposed schedule started becoming tiresome. Weekdays are usually fine, but since my weekends tend to be hectic I’m sometime struggling to get these posts out. Obviously this schedule doesn’t work for me anymore. So I decided to decrease my posting frequency a bit to give me some space to breathe.

I’m officially cutting the Sunday posts for now. 6 days a week is still a tight schedule and I may need to drop it down to 5 at some point but not yet. I don’t think I will ever need to go below 5. Hopefully this slight drop in frequency will result in improved quality (ie. more proofreading for example).

Why am I posting this? Because if I don’t I will keep trying to make the 7 day schedule. If it’s out there in writing, I won’t feel guilty for skipping out on a day.

This one has became like a local meme recently. I don’t think I will ever be able to watch any show or a movie dealing with near death experience with a straight face.

The good news is, that Vin Diesel is not in it. Not that I have anything against the fucking Riddick. Say what you want, but the dude is ok in my book. I mean, he used to play D&D. But, unfortunately he is definitely not 47! Not by a long shot. I never saw him as a good fit - there would be just to much brutal ass kicking if he was in it, and that’s just not Hitman style at all.

But, who the fuck is Timothy Olyphant. How the hell did he get that role? I fucking hate Holywood. Instead of offering the role to the voice of 47 himself - David Bateson they first digg out fucking Tripple X, and then when that deal goes south they fall back on some girly looking cowboy from a HBO show. Seriously, look at the preview - Timmy the Elephant kinda looks like he should be in a boy band, and not in a contract killing business.

Bateson on the other hand was supposedly the model for 47 - the character was designed based on him. The bold head, the voice - Bateson is 47. And if you can’t have him, then at least get Jason Satham. After all the original Transporter movie was nothing more than a blatant Hitman ripoff. Satham has the look - and the voice is close enough.

Sigh… I’m still gonna watch it when it comes out. I love the Hitman games so I will probably be horribly disappointed by the movie. But I will watch it, and rant about it nevertheless.

I have to say that I actually like this Russian version of Winnie the Pooh better than the Disney one. Check it out for yourself. The Disney Pooh is a likable, gullible dofus. Vinni Puh on the other hand fucking rules - he is one clever, fast talking awesome bear.

Heh, I just glanced at the old Visual Studio box lying on a shelf here and it perfectly mirrors the design ideas outlined in this vid.

That said, the Vista boxes seem to be a wee bit sexier (with the rounded edges and all) than the usual Microsoft kludgeboxes.
