in some places of latin america pajero means wanker, can u use a car with that name?because this just in brazil has that name, and where spanish is not usually talked, lol

You should make it into a page informing people about this translation issue and trying to convince people into calling Vista “windows chiken”. ;)

I am a person of Latvian heritage and I speak fluent Latvian. Ever since I heard the name Vista, I have been calling it “Chicken”. My friends and I think that this is quite amusing. I have setup a web site http://www.windowschicken.com and I’m looking for input on what to put up there.

I punched Vista into AltaVista BabelFish and it seems to think that in Simplified Chinese it would be Windows Prospect, in Traditional Chinese it would be Windows Scenery and in Korean it would be Windows Rain Star. In most of the translatable languages, it comes out as Vista.

What a great name! I’m half Lithuanian myself (and always amazed when the country comes up in anything) and will from here on out always refer to Windows Vista as Windows Chicken. Thanks!
