Akismet is a little light on configurability – you have no controll over the filters it seems. This kinda sucks. So far it has been working for me though. Over the last few weeks the only things that got blocked were splogerisms (buy drugs online garbage).

Can you disable it in the free verison? I would imagine you should be able to do that as this is a plugin.

Akismet comes pre-installed with the free accounts, and its been giving me problems. My one friend from the UK can’t seem to leave comments without them being catagorized as spam.
