Actualy I lived in the same room ( in coleage ) for one year with someone that latter become a very close friend of mine. From the begining he showed bot caracteristics of the slow and the ignorant luser. But in time, after I got to know him a liitle bit I discovered that underneath that ignorant user was a very eager person to learn. After all this time that I know him ( about 4 years ) he is still slow in some areas, still needs to ask me for some things but al least he isn’t ignorant anymore. My ideaa is that sometimes , some l-users may become decent users. Just a thought.

PS. I don’t think this could become trendy … :D

theres also the type of person who already knows their way around a computer to a certain level but thinks that they know it all

or who already know one system and expect a new system to be exactly like the old one but also better in some strange undefined way – e.g. people making the transition from Windows to Linux

uhm, just before the ignorant section starts you have this
“The slow luser numbers steadily decrease because eve” which doesn’t make a whole lot a sense, I suggest replacing it with something like this
“The slow luser numbers steadily decrease because eventually they can learn a few basic things and they’re usually old so they retire or die or something”

Yeah… But I can totally live with the slow part. It’s the ignorant part of their personality that is absolutely infuriating. :P

I believe there might be a small third type. They would be both slow and ignorant.
