I’ve had to wait for Comcast cable guys four times in my life. The first two times, they didn’t even show up and I had to reschedule and wait several days. And I missed work waiting for them.

The third time was at a new apartment and I was getting the initial installation. He was over an hour late, and it took him an hour to do the job.

The fourth time I was suddenly disconnected on a Wednesday evening. I had to wait until Saturday for the appointment. This time I actually got a competent cable guy, but this was negated by the fact that another cable guy hooking up another apartment Wednesday evening (when I disconnected) was the one that accidentally switched off my connection at the box.

Comcast has the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

Suddenly the random five minute disconnections and the fact that AT&T will drop me if I say anything negative about them seems a lot less bad.

And there I was thinking it sucked major balls when my ISP randomly and without explanation cut me off for a few hours (did it a few times at intervals of a few weeks)

It seems they only suck minor balls, and Comcast are the major ball-suckers..

It sort of worked out already with that 2nd cable. Otherwise I would be really, really upset to the point of boiling with murderous rage. Now I’m just annoyed, and pissed off at Compost Cable.

As much as I hate to laugh at the misfortune of others, that was hilarious. Sorry for your pain, I hope it all works out.
