@Jme – yeah, I saw it. I haven’t tried playing HL2 that way yet. I’m guessing it totally unbalances the game but it looks like fun ;)

@Ross: That’s what I thought too ;) A continuation of Portal, either separate from, or combined with the events of HL1 (and maybe HL2) would be great too though :D

Portal is awesome, I had so much fun playing this game. Buying the Orange Box isn’t that bad, Episode 2 is pretty good too!

There’s a pretty clear hint near the end of HL2 Episode 2 that the Half-Life and Portal storylines are going to converge in Episode 3.

Imagine having the portal gun and the gravity gun…

Wohoo! Steam is now welcome to come back on my computer. :)

And yeah, I don’t know what is it about portals, but everything they touch becomes awesome. :)

I played the flash version shortly before getting hold of the real thing, they both rock :D

Seems pretty much everything portal-related rocks. They need to get cracking on Portal 2 now

They do offer Portal alone, and I think it’s about $20. The Orange Box also gets you Half-Life 2 Episode 2 though, plus you can give (or perhaps sell) any existing copies of the other included games as Steam gift things to friends who don’t have them yet ;)

Both (of the above) games are awesome, I highly recommend them both :D

Valve does offer Portal for $19.95 through Steam. You have no excuse to miss out now.
