Rec show a new concept that zombies rocks! All this time we see zombie chasing slowly(boring) of someone making the victim got time to pull out his gun and do a head shot. Rec’s zombies seems to pop out from the shadow, screaming like hell and run after people. Quite cool. Anyway, the ending sucks, the hot babe got pull by a zombie and the end. I wanna see stuff like Manuela Velasco get save by Splinter Cell or The Punisher. Sound crap but who give a shit.

I remember when they made True Lies or La Femme Nikita, I thought: cool, they are going to put money in good concepts and that will be nice. Then I saw the results and I cried. European film makers should never ever sell their licenses to US ones. It devalues their work. Good European films should only be viewed in their original version in the USA, sub-titled or dubbed, I don’t care. But please, remakes are just always bad. No exception.

The names are listed on the linked IMD page! Make them pay! LOL
I don’t really mind subtitles though (since English is not my native language, I grew up with them), so I’ll definitely watch this movie.
Same here. It also helps if you sometimes watch fansubs of Anime. :)

As long as people keep paying for that crap, Hollywood will keep making it.

Nice “plot twist” at the end of your post, Luke, didn’t expect that :P I don’t really mind subtitles though (since English is not my native language, I grew up with them), so I’ll definitely watch this movie. Love zombie movies!

I would ask you to tell me that you’re joking about the Hollywood-ing up of the remake, but that would be far too hopeful… how the fuck does that happen? They see something successful that’s unlike their normal stuff, and think “hey, maybe it would be better if we made it more like everything else we’ve done before”?

WHO DOES THIS? I want names, I want addresses and I want an angry mob armed with torches and pitchforks!
