Ah, WordPress, so much fun :D It’s one of those cases where the software tries to be everything for everyone, and it starts to go downhill. It’s still a good system just not an amazing one. I’m surprised that you were able to use the old version for so long without big problems, though.

At least you are lucky enough to have not been getting used to the previous new UI when they changed it again, haha.

Or we might all have neural implants that will allow us to blog and read rss feeds more efficiently in our heads. So you can have holosuite sex AND read your all your favorite blogs at the same time (cause the wetware upgrades will totally give us superhuman multitasking and attention division powers). Cant wait…

Oh who am I kidding… It took me how long to upgrade a silly WordPress blog. Imagine how scared I will be of upgrading my brain. Crap… I need to work on that.

I mean when we hit singularity I don’t want to welcome our machine overlords – I want to upgrade and digitize myself and be one of them. :P

In 2054 you will have a robot that will do all your blogging for you. And we will all have robots that read your blog for us (RSS’s descendants). I expect the robots to be able to operate any version of WordPress.

As you can imagine, blogging will be quite efficient by 2054. This will free up time for extra holosuite sex.

What I love on newest wordpress is automatic update to newest version. (Both wp and plugins)

It is just so simply :P

Dude, in 2054 I will be 72 – if I’m still blogging, and still running Terminally Incoherent that’s going to be a fucking win! Not that I’m planning to stop anytime in the future. Still, given my post rate I’m not sure if WordPress will be able to withstand 45 years worth of data. :P

Also, if I’m running software that is 45 years out of date on the live internet you have my permission to slap me upside the head and knock some sense into me then.

Glad to see TI up! So I’m guessing you’ll still be on version 2.7 when WP 10.2 comes out in 2054? :D

Btw, I like the new dashboard interface of WP 2.7. It takes a while to get used to, but things seem to require less clicks now.
