Yeah, I heard that each book reaches a brand new low with respect to stereotyping, silly dialog and etc. Still, the universe Hamilton created drew me in, and I actually want to know what happens next.

This may shape up to be one of those Guilty pleasure things. You know it’s bad, but you can’t stop reading it. :)

I actually read the whole Reality Dysfunction series of books and I have to say I don’t recommend it. Although it is full of great ideas (scenaristically speaking) and very original in several ways, it is also quite poorly written. The characters are stereotypical to the extreme and the style really sub-par. Some of the dialogs (especially the ones involving the main hero) actually made me laugh. But they were supposed to be serious… All in all, these are not very bad books, just a bit disappointing.
