Do what I did – get serious and study before the exams, but fuck around in between. :) In fact, I wish I had more time for fucking around. When I was in college I had a part time job and a work study (and at one point two part time jobs).I was always a bit jealous of the people who were fully funded by their parental units and could just hang out all day and party all night taking an occasional break to do some schoolwork.

It’s all about finding a healthy balance for you.

I’m 20 and a half and when I look around me at college, I kind of feel the same way. Either get all serious at school and study every day and already make career choices. Or just fuck around, study a week before the exams start, see what you make of it and just enjoy it.

What to do? :(

A day late but anyway:
Congratulations on surviving another year without planning every day meticulously!
Why? Well, I do basically the same. I was born into my career (third-gen in the family business) and so I did in no way care about my career. Or the rest of my life…

Getting shit together? Man, that’s not what I want to do in my free time!
I want to have fun and not sit over plans for the rest of my life!

And whenever you have a wonderful plan allowing for early retirement without any fear of the future the universe comes along and unloads another pile o’ problems!

So happy birthday and go for another year of unplanned life!
