Hmm, haven’t seen it yet, but the ending reminds me of the Dreamers series by David Eddings….

SPOILER ALERT

In the end, time is rewound, and none of anything in the 4 books ever happened. All that happens is someone sees someone else and they look familiar. Giving me absolutely zero closure, and a reason to throw a book across a room in a fit of cursing.

So I’ll make a point not to see this then :P
