I would definitely pick Ramona Flowers! I have read all the comic books and watched the movie, I absolutely loved both of them! Yes the books delve way into the story way better then the movie does. But then again you can see the action unfold on screen which is really awesome with their amazing effects team. I recommend them both! But you have to separate them in you’re mind because if you don’t, you’ll definitely start comparing, Just take both for what they are, Awesome.

Again I’d choose Ramona because of her totally awesome character in the comics.

Thanks for recommending this movie!

I absolutely loved it. It made me giggle from beginning to start. I probably didn’t get a lot of the references, but nonetheless, I had a blast.
Quite endearing too though. I really cared for both Knives and Ramona and can’t really say who tops the other. And Scott is kind of a lovable douche when you think about it.

Truly a well done movie. Both in story, style, atmosphere and graphics.

Definitely pick Ramona over Knives. It’s the fact that she’s Asian that I don’t like; she reminds me of another Asian girl I know, even look similar to, who drives me up the wall. Can’t stand that person. So it’s a personal issue.

Ramona is hot, tho.

For some reason or other, this film wasn’t released in Singapore. Huge bummer.

I did catch it one way or another, and I love it to bits! I especially like the word-ification of most sound effects. Thats gives it a great comic-book feel to the film. I will definitely have to import the bluray from amazon.

I’m already an Asian dude, so I’d have to go for the non-Asian chick of course. And I prefer the pink hair.

Yes! Watched this two weeks ago and I absolutely loved it! Best movie I’ve watched in years (at least). I’m not one to watch anime or anything like that usually, and I had no idea what this movie was about so it caught me completely by surprise. And it was awesome! I was seriously smiling and/or laughing through the entire movie, which is quite a feat.

Having not read the comics I can’t comment on those aspects, but from what I hear from friends who have, it does quite a good job of staying true to them.

As for the visuals and effects, simply brilliant. I would think that might be quite hard to get right (and not awkward/extremely out of place) in a live action movie, but this one does it beautifully. While nothing really makes much sense (come on) everything still fits and feels as natural as it could possibly be.

Visuals aren’t everything of course, and most movies are only as good as the underlying story. This movie excels at that part as well. Even though the basic premise might not be all that enticing it pulls it off with its awesome characters, quite charming moments and sheer randomness.

Oh, and I’d pick Ramona every time. She’s just my kind of girl, both with regards to looks and personality. She’s (in my opinion) really cute and sweet, while at the same time being quite a badass when appropriate. Sure, Knives might kinda fit that description too, but Ramona is a bit more mature (for certain definitions of that word) ;) Also, and this is quite important to me, Ramona is the kind of girl I could imagine just going outside and heading in a random direction for an adventure with. Knives is not :P
