@ Tino:

Yes, you are absolutely right. I forgot about that bit when I was writing the review. I meant to mention it but then it just slipped my mind.

To add insult to the injury the Steam version has the SecuRom built in as well. It is basically a rental. Then again, since I only spent like $8 on this game I’m actually not as annoyed as I would normally be about this. It’s like I actually paid for a rental. I would not recommend paying a full price for this game just because of the 4 machine limit.

SecuROM DRM with 4 machine activation limit? Cool story bro, but, no thank you.

There are two kinds of superhero games out there: ones which are based on recent Hollywood movies and ones that are not. The games in the first category all suck, with no exceptions.

I can think of one exception, Spiderman 2 for the Playstation 2. That is in my top 20 favorite games of all time, and almost definitely the best movie based video game ever made. Very expansive, almost completely free roaming, and only mildly damaged by the movies plot.
Thinking harder about it though, I can’t come up with a single movie based game (apart from Spiderman2) that was worth a damn.
