I know, but the company already spent these monies buying checkpoint licenses. Backing out now would be like admitting a bad decision was made. And everyone knows that there is no such thing as bad decision in the corporate world. There are only synergies and strategems… Or something.

Imagine, in all this time you could have probably built your own firewall with iptables or pf, which would never at any point consider you pirate scum.

I can imagine this being a multi-part mini-series on HBO. You should try selling this story!
