Great post Luke,

I think this game kind of reminds a lot with games like Doom and a bit of Halo, or maybe the mixed version of them both, although Dead Space is using third person perspective. I do agree with what you said, using the same guns over and over again when fighting zombies can be a bit boring and slowly kill the mood. But thank God, this game has a variety of cool weapons that we can use at our disposal. To be honest, i prefer Dead Space 3 than this one as it has more matured gameplay and storyline. Isaac or should i say, Isaiah, kind of reminds of the “One” that sacrifices himself to help all mankind on this planet earth. Coincident, huh?

Yeah, I found this game a bit of a mixed bag as well. It’s pretty intense because to begin with you get worried that you’re going to die … then you do a couple of times and it no longer bothers you.
