One of many things about Elizabeth is definitely her presence. I don’t know why, but i think Irrational Games has done a great job in creating her as the character in the game. I also like her voice and her fashion style. But i think Irrational Games is a bit rushy in making the ending part of this game. In my opinion, the graphics of Elizabeth when she and the other Elizabeth in the river look really rough compared to the entire game. But overall, this game is Brilliant!!!

Hey man,

I read your review with interest, but I’d like to submit to you a review that I read on a french website, that has a completely different feeling about the game.
I tend to agree with him that the game is flawed from a bad gameplay design, which is in total contradiction with the story and artistic direction.

I took the liberty to translate it in english, here.

The oh so reviled escort mission. And here we go and buy a game that supposedly was nothing but one giant escort mission ;)
But indeed, it is fantastic. Unlike anything I’ve ever played. The transition she makes throughout this game is both remarkable and sad. Part of me wishes we could just run around the world together, Booker making up for lost time, forgetting about Columbia, the Vox and Comstock. But that would defy logic wouldn’t it… Liz becomes something very intimidating over the course of the story. Blatantly so even at a particular point near the end.
Looking at her usefulness during combat it came to a point where I’d feel lonely and strangely vulnerable without her. I suppose it’s just a different feeling to go it alone. I compared her with my FNV companions and they’re not really a match for Liz. That’s probably a bit of an unfair comparison seeing that our time in Columbia is a limited and heavily railroaded experience. I find myself going against my gaming nature because of Elizabeth though. If she’d runs away from me I’ll run after her past loot and ammo, possibly infusions. That’s what this story, this character did with me.
