Some time ago I signed up for bunch of Ubuntu and Kubuntu CD’s on the official site. They claimed they will ship the m free of charge. I was skeptical, but then I talked to my friend who ordered them. He got them after few weeks of waiting. So I placed an order too. I mean, it’s not like I’m paying for it. Then I completely forgot about it.
Imagine my surprise when I found a neat Ubuntu envelope in the mail containing the 10 CD’s that I ordered. Click on the image in this post to see them laid out on my bed. They also gave me some stickers :) Awesome.
I’ll probably leave 2-3 CD’s for myself, and give the rest out. Let me know if you want/need one.
Get some of these for yourself today here.

Hahahaha this is basically the exact same experience I had a couple years ago, except I had not heard of anyone who had done this before, making me even more skeptical. I get the package in the mail and I could hardly believe it, plus it came with those sweet stickers :P
Of course by the time I got the disks they had already released a new version… but that doesn’t mean it isn’t awesome.
Keep it real
