Lost: The Glass Ballerina

I have to say this: what the fuck was Sayid thinking? Let’s review:

  1. Others are known for their über, ninja, stealth skills
  2. They don’t leave tracks, and can move without making noise
  3. Last time when Losties posted sentries in the forest, Others came from the sea
  4. Others have boats allowing them to move in from the sea
  5. The sailboat is a more obvious target than the signal fire – why did they dock it and left it unguarded?

You seriously need to have some strong, jungle commando training to out-ninja the others. This plan had no chance of working. Sigh…

On the upside, we have learned that Others have contact with the mainland. I think most of us suspected this already after catching a glimpse of the “Island Burbs” last week, but now it’s confirmed. This means that all of them are there by choice… This also suggests that there are people out there who know about the island, and the work that is being done there. If the Lost Experience materials can be considered cannon, others are probably still working on changing the factors of the Valenzetti equation…

Desmond’s girlfriend however, does not seem to be in on the Dharma shenanigans. Her arctic crew almost collectiely shat their pants when they registered the magnetic discharge. Were they actively seeking out the Dharma island? Are they some sort of anti-Dharma team?

Re: Sun’s pregnancy – could Mr. Boldie McBoldperson be the real father? It could be the case, if we assume that the events depicted in the flashback happened just before their trip?

Lost: The Glass Ballerina

★★★☆☆

I guess the question of the week is: what the hell does Ben want Jack to do for him in exchange for a one way ticket home?
