I just noticed that Montclair has revamped the CSAM website. This is both good and bad. Old site was outdated, and butt ugly. However, the new one has been designed by the same crew of lame mantards who decided to put an unstoppable flash movie on the University’s homepage.
I wouldn’t really care about this, if it wasn’t for the fact that this stupid update has made my MSU website inaccessible. You used to be able to get to my page via:
http://csam.montclair.edu/~maciakl
Most of the professors and students from the CS department also had their personal web pages set up this way. Now all these pages redirect to a nice custom error page. Sigh… Some people were actually using these accounts for projects, and teaching resources.
I’m going to shoot CORE an email to see if they know what the hell just happened…
