Flash Earth

Every single blog lately has posted a link to Googles – the Google Maps plane simulator. I figured that I will be original and I post another map related site just for the hell of it.

Go and check out Flash Earth – a nifty flash site that ries to replicate the functionality of Google Earth allowing you to smoothly rotate the map, and zoom in using your mouse wheel. If that is not enough for you, you can also switch between Google Maps and Windows Live output.

Major drawback here is the lack of a search feature that would take you to a specified address. It is a nifty idea nevertheless.
