I just listened to an mp3 of the reading Cory Doctorow gave at Worldcon – posted by remotepush on his blog. The book sounds awesome. And it was really interesting to head Cory reading it himself. I loved how people were chuckling at the little jokes, and obscure references. Definitely worth checking out – if nothing else just to hear an excerpt from his new book.
I think it is surreal to listen to the author read his own work aloud. You kinda get the idea how this stuff sounds in his head as he is writing it. Besides, I truly admire people who have the guts to do this. I would be to embarrassed to ever do something like that.
I recommend checking it out. I will be anxiously waiting for the book to come out.
