Thompson in Contempt

This is the funniest thing I have heard all week:

Attorneys for Philadelphia law firm Blank-Rome, long a target of Thompson’s ire, filed what is known as a “Petition for Order to Show Cause.” The motion requests that Judge Friedman order Thompson to appear in court and show cause as to why he should not be held in contempt.

Oh God, please let Thompson to be held in contempt! Oh, please, oh please, oh please! I really, really want him to go to jail and become King Gorilla’s girlfriend. If he gets thrown in prison, we should all celebrate it as a national gamer holiday!

What did Thompson do when he found out about this? He started sending out angry emails to the Take Two lawyers, the judge, and GamePolitics blog. Here is an excerpt:

You want to play hardball…? You want to try to throw me in jail? You have no idea what you are unleashing in doing this. You’re at the brink…

Oh no! The brink! The dreadful, deadly brink! WTF is brink anyway? Little Gamers googled it for us:

Dude! Sick! On the other hand, I bet King Gorilla will be happy to help him with the brinks in jail.

No one has experienced the brink and lived to tell the tale.
