History of Blogging

This cracked me up:

What is it about cats that it makes people chronicle their every move? And this is by no means an internet phenomenon! Look at ancient Egyptians - they were nuts for these critters. You know those hieroglyphs that we are yet to decipher? I bet like 80% of them are fucking stories about pharaohs cat and his crazy adventures in the kitchen.

Seriously people, enough with the cats! I have like 4 of them living in my back yard. They are completely wild, untamed, little fuckers, and they run away from people. They do eat the food I put out for them though. But do you see me blogging about them? No!

Fuck… I just blogged about cats. x

lol! ) That is funny, but sadly very true. I guess you have to be a special kind of person to be crazy about cats and once you are you go over board and can’t stop thinking, talking, blogging about them.

This is cat-related, I swear! Boardgamegeek.com is a great resource for finding out about board games. Each game has a page with various info, including user-uploaded pictures (all the content is essentially from users). One trend seems to be to take pictures of one’s cat doing something in or with the box or components. Naturally, this has spawned, in the forums, a faction bent on eliminating these pictures for various reasons. It may be too much of an inside joke, but it’s definitely related to the cat/internet phenomenon. (doo-DOO-doo-doo-doo)

LOL! Btw, I like the website. Thanks for the link.

My theory is that given a website that allows users to post pictures, it is just a matter of time before someone posts a picture of a cat with a (un)funny caption. Kinda like Godwin’s law but with cats.. And pictures…
