Lost: Nicky and Paulo were not in Pilot

Can I make one thing abundantly clear here? Nicky and Paulo were a dirty, disgusting retcon! They were not in the pilot episode! And the fact that some people claiming that Damon and Carlton “planned” for it since the first episode, and that they remember seeing glimpses of them in the early episodes just makes me angry. There are so many easy ways to disprove it. For example, the IMDB cast list credits both Kiele Sanchez and Rodrigo Santoro are first credited in 2006.

Also, this:

Pilot + Expose

Lost Easter Eggs blog took screen shots from both the Pilot episode and Expose proving once and for all that this was all just a stupid retcon. This was not some master plan. Just the worst kind of retroactive continuity.

    ouch, blue-screened in?

I had a feeling that if I had a look at the pilot episode it would become really obvious that they just edited them in to the various scenes, now I have confirmation without having to do it myself

I could tell it was added content because of the dialogue scene with Sawyer outside his tent – that was a redo of the conversation he had with Kate in the beginning. Bah Humbug. Stupid Lost writers. Check this Out (Lost Writer PArody from YouTube):

The 2 year time-reverse to buy some time
Filler episodes suck.. except when the filler manages to be entertaining in its own way

“We’ve all has stupid ideas that are now integral to the storyline” also got me laughing

hey… come on they weren’t that bad. sure… they were just there to fill in an episode but still, it’s not like i would run away from the television when this one was on. any LOST episode is a good episode, if you call yourself fans stop bagging it. ask yourself something… would you rather watch expose or NCIS?

I cant understand why the people are so mad about that? we can remember thats about Lost , and its really amazing seeing the plane crash by another point of view Nikki and Paulo are great characthers that the producers should be a better work using them more than it

    @ James:

Retcon is one of the greatest crimes you can commit as a TV writer. Fans will never forgive you for it, unless you are retconning something they did not approve of (eg. Jar Jar like character or a plot twist no one liked).
